“The truth is somewhere in the middle.”
I read a post by one of my favorite marketing and business mentors, Seth Godin, about how we are innately biased when it comes to our opinion of our own work. I took that a step farther and thought about how we are innately biased when it comes to our opinion of our worth.
If you’ve ever felt the struggle of perfectionism, you can probably relate. We perfectionists tend to either think we aren’t ever going to be enough, or we think if we just work a little harder, we can prove our worth. Both are lies. And the truth is somewhere in the middle.
I recorded a solo episode sharing my thoughts on Seth’s thoughts on this topic and I’d love to hear yours as well.
